Abstract

Introduction
In recent years, due to the lack of recognition and ranking of regions, investments and policies have caused polarization and a gap in the level of development of agricultural units On the other hand, due to the fact that agricultural products are consumed throughout the country, therefore, examining the production situation in different agricultural systems throughout the country can provide appropriate information to the supply chain managers of the country's agricultural products. Evaluating the level of development of the production systems of an agricultural product in the whole country can lead to improving the quality, stability of the supply chain, reducing costs and increasing the efficiency and performance of the supply chain of those products. These things can help to develop the agricultural industry and increase the competitiveness of the country. In many regions of the country, agriculture is the main pillar of the economy. Therefore, regional justice and balance are very important in the agricultural development of different regions.

Materials and Methods
This research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the level of development of different provinces of the country in the field of edible mushroom cultivation. The approach of this research is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population includes 31 provinces of Iran and the required data is based on the results of the 2016 and 2021 censuses of the Iranian Statistics Center. After the initial review, indicators that emphasize the aspects of human power, infrastructure, performance, waste, economy and energy and are available were collected. Weight estimation of indicators was done using Shannon's entropy method. In order to rank, the TOPSIS method was used and the ranking of the provinces was determined in terms of the level of development in the mushroom cultivation industry. The ranking operation was done using eight different index groups, including infrastructure, consumption of inputs, value of consumption inputs, types of products and waste, value of types of payments, value of types of products, value of energy consumption and the number of employees and payments to them.
Results and Discussion
Results shows that in 2016, the provinces were classified into three levels: relatively deprived of development, medium development and relatively developed. Apart from Alborz province, which was placed at a relatively developed level, other provinces were placed at lower levels. In 2021, compared to 2016, all provinces have improved their situation in such a way that no province was placed at the relatively deprived level of development, and the number of provinces present at the relatively privileged level of one province in 2016 increased to 8 provinces in 2021.
Conclusion
The results showed that Alborz province had the highest level of development and Semnan province had the lowest level of development of this industry in the country. The level of development and ranking of edible mushroom cultivation units in the provinces was obtained by using different categories of indicators and the TOPSIS multi-criteria decision-making method. The results showed that the smaller and non-industrialized provinces had more development than the larger and more industrialized provinces. In order to increase the production and productivity of cultivated edible mushrooms, it is necessary to improve the methods and technology of mushroom production and cultivation by developing research, educational and promotion projects as much as possible.
