Professor Mohammad Hossein Abbaspour-Fard is an Employment Professor of the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He has obtained his BSc degree in agricultural machinery from Shiraz University in 1986, his MSc degree in mechanics of agricultural machinery from Tarbiat Modares University in 1989, and his PhD degree in Particulate Materials Handling Simulation from Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2000. His major research interests are: Greenhouse Engineering, Nanotechnology, Nanocomposites, and Bioenergy resources.
He has 91 articles in Persian conferences, 28 articles in English conferences, 67 articles in Persian journals, 88 articles in English journals and has published two books.
He has been the Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Agricultural Machinery since 2009.

Professor Mohammad Hadi Khoshtaghaza received his Ph.D. in Biosystem Engineering major in Postharvest Technology from University of Saskatchewan since 1998. Then he joined Tarbit Modares University where he is presently professor of Biosystem Engineering Department. Dr Khoshtaghaza has taught some graduate courses in the area of Postharvest Technology, Drying Technology of Agricultural products, Physical Properties of Agricultural Material, Advance Heat Transfer, Mathematical Method, Experimental Engineering Analysis of Design. He is author of 130 scientific papers which published in national and international Journal and presented 120 papers in national and international conferences. His Ph.D. thesis was awarded by Canadian Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food and Biological Systems (CSAE). Dr Khoshtaghaza was conductor of some research projects and has some national and international patents. His major research interest include: Processing and drying of agricultural and food products, Postharvest Technology, Physical and Mechanical Properties of Agricultural material, Design and development of Agricultural Machinery.

Dr. Abbas Rohani, born in 1980, is a distinguished academic in agricultural machinery engineering. He is currently an Professor at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, specializing in statistical analysis, modeling, and optimization of agricultural and industrial systems, particularly in maintenance and repairs. With a Ph.D. in systems analysis, Dr. Rohani has an impressive publication record of over 168 Scopus articles and an H-index of 37. He has received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to education and research, including recognition as the best researcher in the natural sciences category at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2021. Dr. Rohani's leadership qualities are evident from his role as the former Director of the Department of Biosystems Engineering. He is also a dedicated mentor to graduate students.

Professor Mohammad Loghavi received his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of California, Davis in 1979. He then joined Shiraz University as assistant professor where he taught various undergraduate and graduate level courses such as: Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Hydraulic Systems, Mechanics of Tractors and Ag. Machinery, Design of Machine Elements I &II, Adv. Strength of Materials, Machine Dynamics, Soil-Machine Relations, Agricultural Machinery Design, Advanced Precision Agriculture and Research Methods. He was promoted to Associate and Professor ranks before retirement in 2012. He has been a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers since 1979. Dr Loghavi has published 83 Scientific papers in refereed journals and presented 64 papers at national and international conferences. He has supervised 4 doctoral (Ph.D.) dissertations and 48 Masters’ degree theses and has shared in 19 national patents.
Seyed Saeid Mohtasebi received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 1988 and 1991, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Quebec, Canada in 1997.
He is currently a Professor in Department of Agricultural Machinery Engineering in University of Tehran. His current research interests are control, vibration, dynamic systems, electronic nose, electronic tongue and machine vision.
